DrProfitCrypto posted a market update on 2026-09-22. Here is the post in full, followed by what it means for a spot trader.
The post
$BTC - I'm shorting big at $86,200. Opened a short at $86,200 with $79K as my first target. The key is the weekly MA50 — reclaiming it gave us a bull-market signal; now I want a retest of it as support. If the MA50 holds I take profits on the short and buy more BTC/ETH; if it fails I may keep the short open and target lower. All my spot positions bought around $60K remain open, I haven't sold any. This short is a trade on a correction and part of my risk-management strategy.

What it means for a spot trader
- Read the levels, not the mood. If he names a price, note it and let the market reach it before you act.
- Do not move your whole position on the strength of one post.
- Keep your spot holdings separate from any short term trade.
- If a level breaks against you, the stop matters more than the opinion.
This is research, not financial advice.
